Welcome To Our Site

Welcome to our website.  We are Michael and Jana Park and since 1997 we have devoted ourselves to loving and raising Alaskan Malamutes. 

Our goal at Winter Park kennel is to raise breed ambassadors, malamutes with excellent temperament, soundness and structure, who are well socialized, and are physically active in AKC confirmation showing and a wide variety of working endeavors.

Our home base is Northern Virginia, home to many national and historic parks which offer us plenty of opportunities to satisfy year round recreational activities with our dogs.  When we’re not on trails, we’re on the road, traveling to shows and seeking new adventures.

December 18, 2011, .... Our beautiful Ava wins Best of Opposite Sex at the    AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Invitational in Orlando, Florida!

January 4 -6, 2012, News Flash.....”Ava”  takes Best of Opposite Sex at the Northstar Working Group Association under Judge Mrs. Sharon K Weston and also  BOS under Judge Mr. Roger  Hartinger.  She also took Select Bitch under Judge Mr. James G Reynolds. Abby took 1st place in Sweeps at the Specialty under Judge Mrs. Pat Griffin.

January 17, 2012....Thomas finishes his final LEG of Working Lead Dog, leading Team Winter Park for 10.5 miles on the C &O Canal Tow Path, in Maryland!!  Way to go Thomas!!!!
